Information Technology Account Manager

OfficeCare, a progressive technology consultant and reseller in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Account Manager. 

The Account Manger’s main focus will center on selling Information Technology service contracts, services, and products into corporations in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky area.  Successful candidates must have the ability to discuss business needs at all levels of the organization with potential customers, including executive management.  Candidates must have strong problem solving skills, be highly motivated, able to work independently, and be passionate about helping customers solve their information technology challenges. 
Previous experience within a high-tech business environment as a quota carrying Sales Professional, Business Technologist, Business Development Specialist, Account Director or Technology Consultant is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Planning: Identifies high potential sales opportunities and prioritizes them. Builds rapport and educates customer with the use of internal and external resources.
  • Qualifying & Analysis: Leads and develops account strategy using customer's growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
  • Proposing & Closing: Submits and presents the customer with a finalized proposal with solutions, justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
  • Validating Value: Engages sales management to validate the business impact with the CXO level.
  • Implementing: Oversees the implementation of the proposed solution by the integrated account team.
  • Insures high post sales satisfaction that enables repeat business with customers.
  • Works closely with a network of manufacturer partners to find and sell new opportunities.

Experience:

  • Four year college degree and 1+ years of successful experience selling in a direct sales role preferred
  • Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to manage multiple sales campaigns and complex sales campaigns.
  • Experience in selling IT solutions that solve business problems or accomplish business goals
  • The ability to present highly complex technical and business concepts to all levels of an organization.
  • A proven track record of progressive accomplishments within your field of work.

Compensation: 
            Base salary plus commission and benefits.
